Jeremy Jones founded Nelson Jones, PLLC along with his partners immediately after graduating from one of America's top 20 legal programs at the University of Minnesota Law School. Jeremy has a broad range of experience with simple and complex family matters, including high-asset divorces, military divorce, complicated financial issues, and specialized family issues (including for same sex couples). Jeremy also represents law enforcement officers throughout the state in the administrative and criminal cases, as well as in use of force reviews, where he is Force Science certified. Jeremy spearheads the firm's appeals court work, which focuses on law enforcement appeals and policy at the highest levels. Jeremy has significant experience with the interaction between criminal, administrative, and POST certification issues arising in the law enforcement context.

Jeremy is recognized as one of the "Premier 100" trial attorneys for Utah by the American Academy of Jurisprudence in 2017. Jeremy was also nominated by Lawyers of Distinction(copyright) as one of the top 10% of attorneys in the United States in 2017.
