Lynna Shin brings a unique perspective to her family law practice, shaped by a diverse background and a deep commitment to helping others. Raised both in the American South and overseas, Lynna’s journey to the legal profession began with a passion for teaching. In her first career, Lynna taught across various levels—including secondary school and college—covering multiple subjects. During this time, she also worked with juvenile and adult offenders in rehabilitation and training programs, an experience that deepened her ability to listen intently and advocate fiercely for those who want a better life.
This experience naturally led her to law, where she could continue standing up for people during their most challenging times. Although Lynna has practiced in several areas of law—ranging from criminal defense to business, estate planning, and domestic violence—her true passion lies in family law. For Lynna, family law represents an opportunity to help clients overcome past mistakes and start anew, providing them with the guidance and support they need to move forward.
A graduate of the Brigham Young University J. Reuben Clark Law School, Lynna combines her legal expertise with the compassion and empathy she cultivated throughout her teaching career. Outside the office, she enjoys staying active through exercise, diving into her latest studies, and creating delicious meals for her friends. Whether she’s in the courtroom or the kitchen, Lynna’s focus is always on bringing people together and helping them find their path forward.
